Panhellenic Informal Recruitment Sorority Registration Form - Winter 2022


THIS LINK IS FOR PANHELLENIC RECRUITMENT. Panhellenic recruitment is open to all students that identify as women, however, if you ONLY have interest in a Divine Nine (NPHC) sorority ie: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.or Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. (our historically Black Greek-letter sororities) or a Multicultural Sororities ie: Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc, or Delta Phi Lambda Sorority Inc. Do not continue with this registration, contact Chris McQueen at for more information. The intake/recruitment process for the NPHC and MGC varies with each group and will be described in further detail at the Panhellenic Orientation.

ACADEMIC RECORD RELEASE: I understand that to apply for recruitment I must be a regularly enrolled, full-time student in good standing with Grand Valley State University. Each sorority has its own GPA requirement for consideration for membership. The minimum among our groups is a 2.5 cumulative for all current GVSU students (some groups have a higher GPA requirement). First-term freshmen and transfer students are exempt from this requirement. No graduate students may participate.

To be eligible to register and participate in Recruitment, you must first complete the 1-hour Hazing Prevention 101™ Course - College Edition was developed in partnership with HazingPrevention.Org and leading hazing prevention academicians to provide evidence-based, best practices that teach you how to recognize, prevent and report hazing. Follow the following steps:

  • Select your classification
  • Organization Type – Potential New Member
  • Organization Name – Panhellenic COB
  • Submit!!!
Once you complete the course you will need to upload your “Certificate of Completion” on the next page

I hereby authorize Grand Valley State University Office of Student Life to release my academic record to the GVSU Interfraternity Council to verify my academic eligibility. 

I understand that my grade point average may affect a fraternity's decision to offer me a bid, I have reviewed the minimum requirements for the community, and I make the decision to continue this application.
